hold in order to join the 8-piece classical crossover group called ‘The
Planets’ as lead guitarist playing classical, electric and flamenco
guitars. After their debut concert at The Royal Festival Hall in London,
they released their first album entitled ‘Classical Graffiti’ which shot
immediately to number one in the UK classical charts where it remained for
over 3 months selling over 200,000 records worldwide. Beyond UK shores,
the group played in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
Germany, Paris, Monaco and the East Coast of America. They also toured
with and supported rock legends ‘Deep Purple’ on the UK and Germany legs
of their 2002-2003 world tour. They performed at the Classical Brit Awards
at the Royal Albert Hall, The Queens Golden Jubilee classical concert held
at Buckingham Palace and on many TV and radio programmes in the UK and
abroad. After two highly successful years the band decided to go their own
ways in order to pursue their individual careers. Since then he has
released an album entitled Sat Where the Castle Stood, continued his solo
performance career and completed a four year degree course in Spanish and
European Studies at Royal Holloway University, London and the Universidad
de Córdoba, Spain. As a solo artist this classical guitarist continues to
