professional solo guitarist of contemporary and classical music, available
for weddings and other private functions. An experienced and accomplished
player, he strives to create an elegant and stylish atmosphere that is
fitting for any special occasion. His repertoire is extensive and
incorporates a range of well-known contemporary and classical pieces, to
suit all ages and tastes.The style of playing is non-intrusive so it can be heard and appreciated but not be overpowering, and his wide range of musical styles varies from Spanish classical to acoustic blues. Where a lively, less formal feel is required, some pieces, where appropriate, are performed on electric as well as classical guitar. This classical guitarist is based in Derbyshire but is prepared to travel, and can be booked for weddings, corporate functions, birthday or anniversary celebrations, blessings, civil partnerships, or by hotels or restaurants wishing to have live music for their diners. He is also a teacher of music and has performed on BBC and local radio as well as doing some other live performance work in theatres. He has been playing guitar professionally for many years as well as being a long-standing resident guitarist at an established and leading hotel in Derbyshire. |
