This
musician specialises in solo Spanish / Classical / Flamenco / South
American guitar music, and will accept bookings anywhere in the world. He
works mostly as a performer, teacher and wedding guitarist in southern /
middle England and South Wales. A professional musician for over 20 years,
he began playing guitar and piano professionally from the age of 16. He
achieved First Class BA in Music specialising in Classical / Latin Guitar
styles (Bath Spa University, 2002-2005)He has performed at concerts in UK, Australia and Europe and Studied under Kevin Byrne, (Flamenco teacher, Bath Spa University), James Woodrow (Prof. Guitar, Trinity College London), Terry Latham (Prof. Guitar, Newcastle Conservatoire Australia) Weddings Weddings are this guitarists favourite events! After many years playing for weddings he still really enjoys each one he plays for. Each is as different and individual as the couples who are getting married. He always take great care to discuss each event with the bride and groom a few times before the day, to get an idea of what music will work best, and to work out the logistics of the big day to make sure everything runs smoothly. He has a wide repertoire of music and can tailor the mood to suit the occasion. Ceremony Often requested at the ceremony is gentle, melodic background music to provide an ambience as the guests assemble. You can select pieces from an extensive repertoire to be played either for the Bride's entrance, during the signing of the register or at the Recession. Reception Whether you would like gentle background music or something more upbeat and lively for the reception, the guitar is versatile enough for all moods. He can provide gentle amplification for up to 300 guests if required, or can play 'unplugged' for smaller more intimate numbers, in accordance with your wishes. More portable than pianos / harps etc, he can set up almost anywhere and add a very special musical flavour to your Big Day. “Mini DJ” Service As he will (most likely) be bringing his 400W PA system to your event, why not use that to play CD music for other times during the day/evening? This may offer a simpler and MUCH more affordable option than hiring a DJ. He does not have the full dance floor and disco lights equipment, nor does he have the extensive music library that an ordinary DJ has - but if you tell him in advance what music you would like, or if you would like to bring your own CDs / MP3 player etc he can use that. Please ask for further details. |
